There’s Never Enough Time…

6b8812f606c33017478d7186c97f0c23I’m not one to swoon, collect, or display those on-trend “words of wisdom” quotes that seem to grace walls, mugs, linens, et al these days. However, the moment I saw this crayon-scribed Bill Watterson quote, it hit me hard on the insides in a warm and lovely way. This is it! This is what I feel and what I want to say most days. In a sense, doing nothing is doing everything you want. It’s when neither your body nor your mind are preoccupied with the busyness of the day and can truly connect to make wonderful ideas. Or to just be in the moment and take some deep breaths.

I’ve collected some images of all the nothings I want to be doing. They are inspiring and motivating to me, as I hope they can be to you.

Bill Watterson is a genius.

Thanksgiving Feels

bc7fdc0668173ad9072acc7b551f75e1This past weekend was Thanksgiving – one of my very favourite holidays. I had 3 lovely dinners which filled me to the brim each time. I was surrounded by loved ones, warm drinks, crisp air, and delicious treats. I was lucky enough to spend Sunday in the country at my Aunt’s home in Port Hope. We were blessed with beautiful weather which we took full advantage of, spending most of the day outdoors. To extend this lovely weekend into today, I wanted to share some beautiful images that bring all the feels of Thanksgiving rushing right back.5d6398f59862a869fb5fa2d4884e76bf 7c19e9a3708be7caee662619bdf2f59e 9fd340112e33af8cb2d7877573d09ebe 216ab9457c4ef39e013c67473bc15c77 296a75f4a0448b84c37e770be5704e7d ef6ee7d08f2c5ed223cffe771afb2ca1 QAvenue_BradJen_Friendsgiving_0057Wildflowerbee Brussels SproutsClick an image to be linked to the talented source.

Fall Is In The Air

b60f7f7305bdb0754f61b7079fe89331It’s officially autumn, though (at least in Toronto) the sun is still shining and the trees are still green, save a few who are ever so slightly dusted with orange. This is one of my favourite times of the year. You can smell the autumn in the air, yet the warm days linger as if it were summer. The sun is setting earlier, bathing the early evening in the most beautiful warm glow – one my skin wants to soak up every last drop of.

Here are a collection of images that give me these feelings. Gathering with friends to catch the last bit of light, eating good food, savouring the outdoors, and being able to cozy up in the early mornings and when the sun goes down.
